Great location with beautiful river views. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The shared bathrooms were well-equipped and had fantastic showers. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering assistance with luggage and providing towels. Plus, there was a kitchen available for guests to use, with complimentary coffee and tea.
The staff initially stated that adding an additional person was not possible, but after some negotiation, they allowed it for an extra fee. However, they refused to provide a receipt for the payment.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the town, which offers a serene and peaceful environment. It is a perfect place for a quiet and relaxing stay. the room service was efficient, and the breakfast that the hotel served was tasty and filling. They had an amazing view of the surrounding hills which was breathtaking. the hotel also had a pool and a gym for leisure activities; however, we enjoyed karaoke and the casino the most.
Our only disappointment was the lack of a clothes line to dry our washing as we travel light.

We enjoyed two nice complementary amenities during our stay. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city center and accessing public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome.
We found the shared kitchen to be quite small and not very user-friendly. the noise level at night was quite high as a result of nearby dogs barking.

I recently stayed at Albergue Aqua in Portomarin for my Camino pilgrimage. The reasonable price and warm staff made my tired journey much easier. The picturesque sceneries along the river from my room were breathtaking. The well-equipped kitchen and fantastic showers in the shared bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. José, the jovial host, was incredibly helpful. This lovely pension is definitely worth climbing stairs for and the shared bathroom was clearly stated in the room description. Truly a comfortable stopping point for pilgrims.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the hotel during the New Year and the atmosphere was amazing. the hotel was festively decorated and there were numerous events to participate in. the location was ideal for exploring the town. It was just a short walk to the center where we found great restaurants and bars. our room had a lovely view which made waking up in the morning a pleasure.
Breakfast was not the best. the selection was limited and the coffee was not hot.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming albergue. From the moment I arrived, the host, Jose, made me feel truly welcome and at home. His enthusiasm and passion for looking after tired hikers was exceptional. the rooms were lovely, with windows that offered beautiful views of the river. the bathrooms were well equipped and the showers were fantastic. Despite being a shared space, I never had any issues with waiting or cleanliness. the owner went above and beyond, even driving me to a local restaurant to ensure I wouldn't get wet in the rain. a fantastic experience!
Nothing bad to say. 👍.

Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel didn't compromise on service and attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.
